TCCCB – No Red or Pink

Hello, welcome to the mid-month challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

Twice a month we roll out fantastic challenges for your to play along with and we work with great sponsors so you get to see art from a wide variety of talented artists.

Our challenge this fortnight is No Red or Pink. You can use any other color.

The sponsor I’m working with this time is Tory Tale and they’ve provided this cute elephant, called “A Good Mood” to work with. As you can see, I managed to stay away from the red/pink options.

The sketch on this card was from Cheerful Sketches Challenges.

TCCCB – Inspiration Picture

Hello, welcome to the mid-month challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

Twice a month we roll out fantastic challenges for your to play along with and we work with great sponsors so you get to see art from a wide variety of talented artists.

Our challenge this fortnight is an inspiration challenge. So, there’s really no wrong entry as long as the image inspired you….ready for it….

Different, right? How will it inspire you? A snowy scene? Animal themed entry? Black and white with one color? Let’s see what you come up with.

This challenge, I’m working with Decosse’s Dynamite Doodles. They offer elements for your digital creations, although you are free to print them off and use them in the traditional way, as I did with my project today.

This project uses two patterned papers from the “That’s SnowBiz” paper set, the sentiment is called “If You Never Chase Your Dreams” (set 2) and the daisy comes from the Tag Grab Bag 1, Cotton Candy Collection. Thanks Decosse, for the great products!

I hope you’ll come play along with us. You can link up your entry over at The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog from now through the end of the month. Come and check us out!

TCCCB – Use Ribbon

Hello, welcome to the mid-month challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

Twice a month we roll out fantastic challenges for your to play along with and we work with great sponsors so you get to see art from a wide variety of talented artists.

Our challenge this fortnight is Use Ribbon. Easy? I think so! I have a great collection of ribbon, so the biggest challenge here is figure out which one to use.

The sponsor I’m working with this time is The East Wind and I’ve picked an image called “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”. And, the final card is this pretty creation. Red, purple and blue seems like an odd combination, but I’m really happy with how it turned out.

My card was inspired by the December CASE the designer challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. I was inspired by Gloria’s beautiful August creation. Thanks for the inspiration!

TCCCB – Things with Wings

Welcome back to our challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

Twice a month we roll out fantastic challenges for your to play along with and we work with great sponsors so you get to see art from a wide variety of talented artists.

Our challenge this fortnight is Things with Wings. So break out those birds, bees, bugs and…airplanes.

I’m working with our sponsor SLS Lines.  This is Book Fairy at the Library and she was alot of fun to work with.

I had fun creating this layout and working with some colors that I haven’t pulled out for awhile. I love working with these flowers too.

I Got the Blues…Blog Hop with TCCCB

Welcome back to the 15th of the month challenge at  The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

But wait, we have something different this month! After all the hype and excitement of the holidays is long gone, sometimes January can be a real drag! So we’re making this challenge a “I Got the Blues” Design Team Blog Hop….with PRIZES!!

Hop, skip and click your way through our team. Leave a comment on each blog with the password (“January Blues”) and you have a chance to win one of four cool prizes. These prizes will be shipped internationally, so anyone can enter!

PLUS…there’s the usual prizes we offer for participating on our semi-monthly challenge. This month, create a project For a Male and link it up on the blogfor a chance to win these two additional prizes.

As is the usual drill here at The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog, we have two wonderful sponsors being featured by the Design Team. My image this challenge comes from Moonflower digistamps.

Now choosing a male inspired image from MoonFlower was a challenge, but I found Gigi Flap Dancer in their selection and knew she was perfect! I tried to make a vintage inspired card. Did I pull it off?

Now, you’re off to Rebecca‘s blog for more great projects. If you get lost along the way, here is the complete hop list, in order. Don’t forget to leave a comment! The more you comment, they more you have a chance to win! (Psst, don’t forget the January Blues password).

After you’ve hopped your way through our projects, don’t forget to link up your own project For a Male at the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog to be eligible for this weeks’ prize drawing.

See you again soon! And, cheers!

TCCCB – Punches & Dies!

Hey Everyone! Can you believe it’s already December? And the 1st of the month means another challenge with The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog!

We want to see your punches and dies! This challenge lasts until the 14th of the month, so you have plenty of time to get in on the action.

The TCCCB team is lucky to work with three sponsors for this challenge and I’m lucky to be able to work with My Stitch Back in Twine Digi Designs.

I chose to work with Senorita Charlie. I think I was originally going to color her up in Christmas colors, but somehow I settled on green only and here she is! This card uses my beloved oval nestabilities as well as my MFT Bow Die and a MFT border die, whose name escapes me at the moment. I also stuck a punch in there, the oval for the sentiment.

And, I’m off to include this card in a few challenges:
