2017 Card Kits – #2

I am on a roll! After begin so busy during the fall and months leading up to Christmas, it feels good to be back at my craft desk. I have a fairly numerical job during the day and some days I feel like creating stretches my brain out of its box and back into a beautiful work of art, ready for another day. Ahhh!

Today, I’m back with my 2017 card kits, number two out of ten. This kit came from Angie and it was a beach/sea themed one.

For this first card, I played along with SplitCoast Stamper’s Featured Stamper challenge and chose this card by Tracey for my inspiration. Thanks for the fun, Tracey!

And, for the second card I was inspired by no particular one card, but was glancing through the galleries and an idea POPPED into my head as I explored. I had fun cutting these layers and then inking up the scenery. My original intention was to not include the blue background, just the yellow/orange circle. But, somehow it needed just a “little” more.

Thanks, Angie, for your great kit!
