2017 Card Kits – #1

For many years, I’ve been participating in a card kit swap on SplitCoast Stampers. My kits have caught up with me a bit and EVERY year I vow I’m going to get to work on them. Last year, I was determined to use up my 2016 kits before I received my 2017 ones. I hit my target and got them all done – even though it took a few extra weeks – but when the 2017 kits arrived, life was…busy, and I didn’t get started on them.

So here I am, in 2018, catching up on card kits again. I received 10 kits and have gone through all of them, coloring the images and now I’m ready to create! This is the first of those 10 2017 kits.

Sonja sent me this adorable Valentine themed kit, complete with red feathers and a variety of images! I got a huge kick out of this sexy lady and her awesome sentiment. The card was made with the sketch over at the Fusion Card Challenge.

The next card I made was with these beautiful roses. I loved coloring this image! And, I’ve used the sketch over at Feeling Sketchy. (#184).

And, lastly were these gorgeous red roses. Also fun to create with! I decided to cut them out and then use them to frame my sentiment (which is also most lovely, by the way!). Once again, I’ve used a sketch. This time the sketch over at Reverse Confetti (#56).

Sonja, thank you for a lovely kit! I had so much fun working with it.

See you again soon, crafters.
