It’s the 15th of the month, which means it’s time for another challenge over at The Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog.
For this challenge, we’re asking you to Create a Sky Scene.
We have a three fabulous sponsors for this challenge, but I had the privilege of work with stamps from Deedee’s Digi’s. If you have time, stop by and check their fabulous images out.
Alright, are you ready for confession time?? Come close…
This challenge scared me a little. Shhh! Don’t tell the others.
I don’t really DO sky scenes that often, so it was kind of intimidating trying to make something good enough to post on my blog, nevermind the challenge blog too. But, what I learned is that an unfamiliar challenge can bring satisfaction when it turns out right! So no excuses with this one, join us!
This card uses the set Fluttering By from Deedee’s Digis. I printed the butterfly on white, cut it down and made my sky scene by sponging. The butterfly was colored with my copics. The white markings on it’s wings were embellished with puff paint to give it a bit of texture and then I added stickles to the wings for some glamour.
What do you think??
You can play with us over at the Crafter’s Cafe Challenge Blog from now through the end of the month. Come and check us out.
