The Crafter’s Cafe – Monochromatic for a Child

Hi Everyone! Can you believe it’s September.

If you’re here looking for the Riley & Company Inspiration, I will have something FANTASTIC for you posted tomorrow. And, if you’re here looking for the Crafty Time Challenges post, then it will be available on September 3rd.

Today is dedicated to The Crafter’s Cafe. Why? Because they have a WONDERFUL new design team member…ME! That’s right, you’re looking at one of the newest members of the talented Crafter’s Cafe team.

The Crafter’s Cafe has been around for awhile, but they have recently made some format changes to their challenges. They post two challenges per month, on the 1st and the 15th. Each challenge has a theme and all you have to do is make a new creation following the them and link it up on the challenge post. We’ll come and give you some comment lovin’ for your efforts.

The challenge today is Monochromatic For a Child. Oooh, a two part challenge.

The sponsor I get to work with this week is Bugaboo Stamps. Bugaboo has a fabulous selection of gorgeous digital images to use (and one of the only places I can find a set of ninja stamps). I stayed away from the ninja’s today and used Hot Air Balloon Clyde.

I think most kids like dragons, at least mine do. And, I used shades of green for my monochromatic vision.

I hope you’ll come play along!
