Riley & Company – Paper Piecing

Welcome to this week’s Riley & Company challenge. If this is your first time  with our challenges, we play every two weeks over at the Riley & Company blog. So come on over and check us out.

I get to be your host for this week’s challenge and I picked Paper Piecing. For those of you who may not be familiar with this technique, here is a quick tutorial.

This technique does require an image to play with, so I went hunting through my Riley images to see what I could find. I ended up with Gift Box Riley for this project. The gift box was the perfect size to fussy cut without too much trouble. I used two different patterns, one for the box and one for the bow.

Want to play along with us? Then all you have to do is make a project with a Riley & Company image and then head over to the Riley & Company blog to link up your card/project so that we can see what you created. No blog? No problem! Just use the keyword RILEY0415 when uploading your card to a public gallery (such as Splitcoast Stampers).  We can’t wait to see what you create!

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Riley & Company Design Team’s blogs to see what fabulous creation they made for this challenge:
