Mystery Image Swap

I had to look back over my blog to remember whether I posted my January 2014 Mystery Image Swap card. But I did. It was Bugaboo’s “Gus Birthday” chosen by Imke.

This month, it was my turn to pick the image. I chose this image from the old Cornish Heritage Farms company, Tom Thumb Collection, “Birthday Surprise”. You would think, since it’s my image, that I’d have a head start on getting the card done and have it finished well before the end of the month, but…nope. Still, two days past the deadline isn’t that bad, right?

Here is my card, using the Viva la Verve Week 2 sketch  for February 2014.

While I was sitting at my craft desk, I also decided to finish the Week 4 sketch, which I LOVED when I saw it. I had some hexagon patterned paper sitting nearby and thought it was perfect to use with my fairly new hexagon nesties. Love how this one turned out! I’m also starting to fall in love with Unity stamps…uh oh!
