I”m back with a few more cards from the Hope You Can Cling To challenges over at SplitCoast Stampers.
This next challenge is one of my favorite cards! The challenge was to use only 1 or 2 layers, with I sometimes find hard. I found this image in my image stash. Love it and haven’t used it for quite awhile. I jut love how this cute card turned out!
And, the next card was also a great one! Use a fun sentiment, silly image or bright colors. I combined a fun sentiment with bright colors to get this great card. I love the brad on that bow!
And, since I seem to be posting yellow cards. Here’s one more.
This challenge sent me to a page that sold cancer memorial ribbons. It appears that pretty much every cancer has a different ribbon color. We were supposed to pick one of those colors as inspiration for the card. I noticed that they had a color for bone/marrow cancer, which is yellow. My grandfather passed away almost 15 years ago from bone cancer, so I decided that that’s what I was going to use.
Crushed Curry is a SU color that was around for awhile, left and has come back. Since it disappeared for a bit, I haven’t played with it much, but it is one of my favorites. I pulled out some old patterned papers and made this card.
