Playing with Patterns

Just a quick post for you today. A bright and fun card that reminds me of summer (which is still months off, sigh).

I love the “scenes” stamps from Stampendous. They’re so much fun to play with and this Sunflower Scene is one of my favs!

One challenge I sometimes have with cardmaking is pairing several patterns together. I love how they look on cards, but I can never seem to get them all on the size of card I make. I found this sketch on SplitCoast Stampers. It’s one of their older sketch challenges (SC194), but what attracted me to it was the chance to use up some of my scraps with a variety of colors and patterns.

I also like the way I did the sentiment on this card. This is another one of my cards from the Valentine’s Hair Massacure Crop in late January, so I didn’t have my tab punch. I made do with a couple of circle nesties.
