Mystery Image Swap

Wow….it’s quiet around my virtual house!! Not so much in my physical house. It’ s been a busy weekend!!

This weekend was Claire’s first birthday. We had a small, but fun birthday party for her. I think she had fun. The look on her eyes after we sang her Happy Birthday was priceless!

Here’s a picture of the birthday girl….

…and of the cake that I made her. Claire loves Sesame Street and Bert and Ernie are a big favorite. I found this cake pan on ebay. It’s a vintage pan from 1977 and knew it was perfect. I was worried about how it would turn out, but I’m very happy with the end result.

I do have a card for you today, from my mystery swap. This swap is on SCS and one person from the group sends out an image each month. You make a card and post it for all to see. Lena chose this cowboy image. Isn’t he cute? I made this beauty. The sentiment, which says “you can always tell the real cowboys” I put inside. I couldn’t find the right spot for it outside the card.

Thanks for stopping by!
